Dropping back into this project that my friend Stacy Salpietro-Babb and I last worked on almost two years ago was hard at first. We had to remember what our message for this new deck was supposed to be and where exactly we were in the process. Luckily "two year ago Stacy and Margaret" left us good notes.
Once we were able to stop chatting with each other (which is hard for us! Chatting about all topics both serious and goofy are what Stacy and I love to do.) we were able to devote our energies into continuing with this unique new Tarot deck dedicated to the non-human residents of the northeast U.S.
We are enamored with the way the deck is organized, with what we are learning about all these creatures, and with the peaceful place where we are working on it.
Most of the work for this deck has been done at Welcome Hill Studios, a beautiful program in New Hampshire dedicated to giving women time and space to create.
