Hello friends,

Spring is finally starting to show itself here in Vermont—the trees are budding, the first flowers are peeking up, and the air has that soft warmth that makes you believe winter might really be behind us (despite the surprise snowstorm just last week). I'm soaking in every sign of the season's shift and finding that nature is just as healing to the spirit as always.

It was such a joy to see so many of you at the March Paradise City Festival! I’ll admit, I probably shouldn’t have been there—I was still recovering from a bout of pneumonia—but your warmth and enthusiasm made it well worth it. That said, this year is asking for a bit more flexibility from me. I’ve had to make some changes to my event schedule due to the loss of a dear family member and some shifting availability, and I’m doing my best to move gently through it all. Here is a link to my updated events schedule: https://www.margaretshipmanart.com/upcoming-events

In brighter news, I’m thrilled about an upcoming collaboration in May with Spill the Tea Sis Apothecary in Northampton! I’ll be creating paintings inspired by Mischa Roy’s herbal magic blends, and we’ll be celebrating with an in-store event on May 23rd. The very next day, I’ll be back at my booth for the Paradise City Art Festival in Northampton—one of my favorite weekends of the year. I’ve been counting down to it and can’t wait to share new work with you there. I’m also deep in the studio working on a new moon calendar project and a special collaboration with a dear friend that I think you’re going to love.
